THE DEVELOPMENT AND APPROBATION OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE FOR DETECTING THE TENDENCY TO GOSSIP (TTGQ – TENDENCY TO GOSSIP QUESTIONNAIRE): A PILOT STUDY

Gossiping is a widespread phenomenon in interpersonal relationships, significantly impacting social dynamics and the emotional state of participants. It has potential to create distrust conflict, especially when false information involved. Despite its prevalence, there lack reliable instruments measure gossip propensity. This article aims present results pilot study that involved developing validating psychodiagnostic questionnaire identify individuals' inclination engage gossip. To achieve this, an analysis classical modern scientific sources was conducted explore as both psychological construct. The outlines stages development highlights adjustments made based on obtained results. internal consistency assessed using Cronbach's Alpha, resulting coefficient 0.838 for overall scale 0.634 lying subscale.
